1968: First guitar, an acoustic bought in Spain - E, A, and D strings all the same gauge, G, B, and E strings all the same gauge. Doh!
1969: First tape deck, a 3" open reel. Started recording.
1971: First electric guitar, an SG copy. Bought a Copicat (£50.50, £620 today)
197? Bought an Akai 4000DS, because you could dub.
198? - 1986 Bought the cheap Casio 101 and Yamaha DX100 synths and a Yamaha QX5.
1991: Saw a documentary about Torville and Dean, and saw Cubase in action, for the first time. A couple of months later, bought an Atari 1040 (£500-ish, £1150 today), and a while after that, Cubeat(!).
1992?: Bought Cubase Score 2
1995: Bought a PC - 8 MEGAbytes of RAM and a 500 MEGAbyte HDD (yikes!)
