I’ve been a musician and teacher for over 50 years. I arranged for my various ensembles that needed, church and community groups that need updated music for performances. My experience started with Encore, Cakewalk, Finale, early Sibelius. I sold software products and did teacher seminars on software for the classroom. When Sibelius was sold and became subscription, I found Musescore and really liked the format and the strong layout features that locked in the notes, etc. with non-collisions. However things do change I discovered Dorico. So far I really like this truely professional program. All apps and software have issues and will always have. It is the way users have to work with and make their projects shine for their end user musicians, regardless of level.
