SonikElectrik is the audio playground of English video producer and multimedia artist DJElectricDaddy. First born into the big-hair metal scene of the early 1980’s, DJED then ‘matured’ into the goth scene of the late 80’s, the grunge scene of the early 90’s. By the time the mid-90’s rolled around a move ‘across the pond’ signified a new beginning - and the adoption of electronic music making.

Today, I am trying to meld the decades of musical influence into something cohesive that is tangibly ME. It’s part indie/shoegaze/grunge inspired guitar; part Berlin/trance/techno inspired beatmaking; and part experimental/ambient/drone inspired melodic structure.

Along with ad-hoc musical one-man-jams I label Song Sketches, I also post the occasional higher production value Studio Performance videos and how-to Workshop Series videos.
