I started in radio in the 60’s. It was boring. My first sound job was a maintenance man for Gotham Recording. After a stint at A&R Recording under the tutelage of legendary engineer/producer Phil Ramone. I got my own little studio, The Sound Exchange.

There I got to work with the likes of, Ike and Tina, Mannilow, Cocker, and Jimmy. Inthe basement Richard Factor and I started Eventide Clockworks. When the studio burnt down I went on to Nashville where I designed and built studios with Dave Harrison.

I ended up in LA as the first Dolby Consultant and got to work on the mixes for Star Wars, CE3K, and Altered States.

Today happily retired with 9.1.4 in Nuendo my family room…
