I have a composition degree from Berklee(76) and had the privilege of studying with Herb Pomeroy, Michael Gibbs and others. After Berklee, I played keyboards with a number of bands and artists, some known. I worked at this for 10 years with limited success. When the 2nd child was born, I decided to switch careers and study computer science. I ended up as a civil servant at NASA working as a system administrator/manager. In the early 90s, music efforts became part time and were devoted to church settings. I was a worship leader at a large Episcopal church in Maryland and moved to multicultural evangelical churches. After 34 years at NASA, I’m now retired and can devote my time to my music. Still trying to work out how one makes a living doing music. I have some of my music posted at https://misterandy.bandcamp.com.
