Hello everyone.

I have been a non-professional musician for over 40 years. I live in a village near Rennes, in Brittany.
I am from this era where we only had the possibility of recording live on tape with all the difficulties for our models.
For a few years now I have gradually moved on to software. I like to explore DAWs that are financially affordable for me.
Apart from Cubase LE offered with my Zoom G7.1ut, Cakewalk Le, Samplitude from Magix, I acquired Sonar 8 to get closer to more professional software. Then I was seduced by FL Studio, far from the sound that has inspired me until now (but the lifetime update is not negligible).
Today I am far from progressive rock because my musical vision is turned towards cinematic Orchestration.
I realize that Cubase is certainly more appropriate for this style of composition.
For the moment I only follow at the Elements level and hope to at least move to Artist.
I have Studio One Artist 5, Cakewalk by band Lab, Komplete 14 standard, Collection X and Fx from Arturia, Ableton 13 lite, BBC orchestral Core in addition to no other VSts.
But even with this software and Vsts folder it is not for all that that my compositions are like a real achievement, I still have good equipment and that’s already something.
