1.1.52 ISSUE: COPY/PASTE AND DUPLICATE STACKS DON’T WORK

Only a empty stack is created, with the name, but totally empty of vst, connection, ecc…

maybe you just knows, just to help you.

Cannot reproduce (with upcoming version). There are several ways to copy/paste or duplicate a Stack, it may be global etc. I did:

  • new project
  • add Stack
  • right click Stack and select “Duplicate”

No problems. What did you do?

I made a test, i recorded the screen, here the link of the mp4.

In certain conditions, the copy result empty, without the effect, or fader value modified…

But it happened starting a new project, new stack. Then , at certain point it works, as expected, with a complete copy of the stack, with all insert vst, positions of fader and fx.

sometimes is triggered by paste or duplicate, select, de select, add o erase stacks… i don’t know why.

I made now another test: starting as before, with all new, one stack with some insert vst, try to duplicate the PART, instead.
the stack again appear empty.

Tried exactly as you did, step by step, all good.
Maybe try one more time with the next version coming soon, if it still persists keep nagging. Been working with Stacks a lot, but it just doesn’t fail here…
One thing I noticed in your video is that you appear to have Cubase and VST Live open at the same time? That is generally not recommended, you may loose MIDI ports and depending on the system, also other things may go wrong.

Waiting for next version, to try again.

I assure you, VST LIVE goes alone, Cubase not was open.

What you see in the video is NOT CUBASE OPEN, but my screen background of DESKTOP, without icons.

I use the image of Cubase as screen on my desktop, this mean Love for that program, and my job.
