Hi! full support for CC editing in MIDI track is lovely, and I think will make our life easier :))
Two small additions:
I’ve found some missaligment issue (editing happens a bit furtherfrom mouse pointer)
Can’t erease values (that were wrongfully drawed).
Could you please check if issue appears on other setup also?
Selecting + delete not allowed for deletion for me:
At DMX editor, pointer slip exists also. There is another interesting one.
It behaves like SNAP is always on. Turning SNAP on/off has no affect on editing points:
I hope, my screen recordings can still help!
Regards, F
Ps. @Spork , is here good? I will add further ones
Hi @Spork , I would kindly ask you to rethink this design. Lots of users were asking for ramp (dmx / midi) in the last month. Just think about how an automated volume or light is stepping like craisy instead of smooth ramp. A quick comparsion to Cubase’s ramp/line-tool. Ending with non appearing editor lane, but that is another but just appeared once today:
besides previous one, these meight cause difficulties also:
Edited DMX lane values appearing after hide/show editor lane:
MIDI CC points are failing at redrawing:
While DMX points are qite impossible to redraw compared to MIDI CC’s (sorry, jump to 00:17)
Also a previous one came back:
Drawed tempo track values are also imposible to delete back:
I think line tool (in MIDI, DMX) and extended CC editing in MIDI will be a great tool, including tempo drawing are great improvements in VSTLive. Meanwhile I think something like this, will be the final goal, where points are editable, mooveable, multi-selectable and ramps are smooth like in Cubase (if automation is kept controlled via virtual MIDI in the long future) although that needs lots of programming hours
