10.5 Automation Freeze and No Undo

Hey - can’t figure out the culprit on when this happens but at least once per hour the automation track on an instrument or audio track gets “stuck” and stops responding. Typically this happens after I record some automation. See attached. It stays red permanently. I can disable/re-enable the track to reset it but then it continues to happen until I fully quit out and restart Cubase.

This problem is also linked to undo being disabled. Very strange behavior, Cubase! Help!

Hi,

How do you write the automation? Do you write it from hardware? I have seen this already at some systems, where was a MIDI loop with the hardware controller.

Thanks for your response! I use the CC121. Interesting on MIDI loop - trying to figure out how I’d trouble shoot.
