After upgrading to 12.0.51 my Artist most often freeze in the hub, when starting . If starting happens the programme often crashes and closes.
was this working ok in 12.0.50 ?
if so then I’d downgrade
Tried it, but it still cannot start or crashes, not everytime, but say every second or third time. I noted that other uses have also had a crash problem after installing 12.0.51
you could try deleting (after backing up!) your preferences ?
As I have a similar problem (though on Win 11) I wonder how to ‘downgrade’ to the Cubase 12.0.50 version. If you could point me in the right direction, thanks anyhow!

I used Steinberg web page:
Chose Cubase 12 and then the version (mine is Artist) and then at the bottom of the page you will find:
OLDER CUBASE ARTIST 12 INSTALLERS
Have tried this also, but in vain. problems still occur
