I’m trying to hook up my 192 I/O with Cubase (PC).
I’m not finding any relevant information on if this is physically possible.
Some are saying there are I/O limitations to 8 only, some are saying it’s not possible…
Anyone have a link or a manual that can help?
Does it come with a dedicated ASIO driver?
If you also have a Digidesign card in your PC, you can use your 192 via the Digidesign ASIO driver. 8 channels only, apparently.
The Digidesign ASIO Driver provides the following numbers of input and output channels:
Up to 8 channels of input and output with Pro Tools|HD systems
The ASIO Driver is not multi-client. Only one application at a time can use the ASIO Driver. Be sure to disable the Windows system sounds. It is also recommended that you use a separate sound card for games or other general work.
Funnily named, it brings first in my mind 192 input/output and not 192 kHz, since the wording of the model
