[2.2.15] macOS Installer problem

macOS Installer for 2.2.15 shows: (unnotarized)
and does not work!

Hi Ron,

This time we could not notarised the Mac Installer. Sorry. If you want to run the installer you need to Cmd+Click to the Installer and choose “Always Open with Installer”.

Have a nice weekend,
Michael.

Nope - just displays “Apple could not verify ‘VST Live.pkg’ is free of malware that may harm your Mac or compromise your privacy” and gives buttons for Ok and Move To Bin.
Tried all variations of open with, command click…
Sequoia 15.3.2 on an Intel MacBook Air.

Right-Click to the Installer and click then the"option" key. Then it will change to

Does it work for you now?

Nope! I only get “open with” not “always open with.
I even extracted the pkg to my downloads folder

Edit: found “always open with” but same error

.. which macOS?

As stated

… sorry. Yes, Sequoia.

Here’s an article

Just double-click to the Installer and open the Security Settings

Now it should work

Our internal Notarise Server which communicates to Apple was broken on Friday. It will be fixed next week. That’s why this time the installer is not notarized.

It took a while to get that option to pop up - must highlight the pkg before you open security, and still took me 3 tries.
Now installed - thanks @Spork

… thank you, @CliveJ.

Meanwhile the Installer has been fixed and the correct one is online now.

Have a nice week,
Michael.
