This seems to be something to do with notes above C4…

If I drag the sequence into VSTL (or export a MIDI file from CuBase and then import) then the track renders like this:-
Note that the MIDI editor in VSTL shows the notes correctly. It also plays correctly according to the MIDI monitor.
Using the VSTL MIDI editor to move the offending C4’s makes them show correctly in their new position, but if I move them back to C4 then I’m back to the same display problem.
If I move the sequence up/down an octave and send to VSTL then it’s all fine.
Same problem if I just draw the MIDI in the VSTL editor - see track 2
