when i use my daw (cubase) i can hear the input signal all the time . so when im not using my daw i can hear the input signal and when i use the daw i can still hear the input signal . when i enable monitor i can hear 2 signals , a dry signal and the signal through my daw which has or could have some effect or vst on depending . I know there is 2 signals because of this and the signal is twice as lowd . so i dont think its my daw ,is there anyway of turning the signal input off through windows when i am using cubase ?
What interface?
Monitor button or mix dial?
im using a steinberg UR 242 and my auto monitoring is set to while record enabled
Please open dspMixFx and observe the monitoring settings and routing there.
You may want to use only one at a time, either Cubase or the interface, but not both at the same time.
where is dspMixFx on cubase 12 ?
You’re kidding? Right?
Read the manual for your interface.
