2 Nuendo licences/Update

Hi, I have got 2 dongles with 2 separate Nuendo 11 licences. I loved to work with my laptop and did not want to remove the dongle from desktop computer.
Now I updated to Nuendo 13, but since eLicencer is going to shut down, I cannot see, which licence is actually the N13. If i buy second N13 update, how is it connected with my 2nd dongle? Let’s say, I want to sell one dongle, how do I now, that N13 is actually linked to this particular N11 licence?

Open the Steinberg Activation manager. The Elc does not have your N12 or N13 licenses

The elc has an entry that shows a license was updated.

Hi, I see in Activation manager only one Nuendo 13. The other Nuendo (N11 should be) is not there.
(I have bought this second licence with a dongle)
In My products/Software page I can see I’ve got 2 Nuendo 11-s, but which one is upgraded to 13 and which is not? Can I have 2 N13 licences at all?

I would assume that the number of the USB dongle is the one below each N11 entry:

Just plug one of your eLicensers into your computer and look for that number. That should be the one that was surrendered. The other at the bottom is still available.

Sorry, I do not understand…I have both Nuendos on different dongles. This number is simply a dongle number, nothing more specific…(I have another kind of licences on them also)
If I buy today upgrade fron N11 to N13, would I see 2 Nuendo 13 on SAM? (Right now, I see only one Nuendo there)

Sorry, I don’t really understand what you don’t understand.

You asked which Nuendo 11 license / dongle was upgraded to Nuendo 13 and I showed you in the image which one I think that was. It literally says “upgraded to Nuendo with Steinberg LIcensing” for that eLicenser.

The other eLicenser (at the bottom) seems to still have a Nuendo 11 license. If you upgrade that one to 13 you should see two N13 licenses in your account.

How did you get your N13 license “on SAM”?
Do the same for the other N11 license.

“Upgraded to Nuendo with Steinberg Licencing” means, that I have once upgraded from Cubase to Nuendo! It does not mean upgraded from N11 to N13. (Look at the next column, same goes to Dorico 3,5 to D4)
On the picture one can see two Nuendo 11 licences. (No information about N13)
Right now I think I will not buy another upgrade.

Does it? It does not say “Cubase to Nuendo”, it says “Nuendo 11 (upgraded to Nuendo

Exactly. From one (Dorico 3.5/Nuendo 11) to another (Dorico 4/Nuendo with Steinberg Licensing).

Here is my eLicenser page:

Same thing and I never owned Cubase.

That’s because you are looking at the eLicenser which contains OLD licenses. You moved FROM the eLicenser/dongle TO “Steinberg Licensing”. The actual current license I own for Nuendo 13 is on the page for “Steinberg Licensing-based products” and that’s where you will find yours as well I bet.

The reason you see Nuendo 11 still on that eLicenser page is probably because you want to have a record of what you did, i.e. you had that license there and it was upgraded.

Look, all you have to do if you owned two Nuendo 11 licenses and want to upgrade both to Nuendo 13 and already did it once is to buy another upgrade and go through the same process again. Just do exactly what you did last time. If you use the “wrong” dongle all that is going to happen is you’ll get an error and you’ll use the other dongle instead.

Oh, I really hope, You are right…
