It’s the second time I come across this problem, and it probably would be nice for everyone to have a 2 ped playing technique available (that would trigger the appropriate playback techniques) and that follows the same rules as the Ped. playing technique (and its Engraving options).
Of course, tweaking the playing techniques is possible, as you can see:
But the playback is not right, moving it is complicated, creating it is even more complicated, and I understand every user is not supposed to be an advanced Dorico wizard

Well, probably… I retype a lot of French vocal music. But I don’t know much about this particular thing, only that it’s not the first time I see it, and Dorico makes it quite complicated to deal with it!
I suppose it’s una corda+sustain pedal. It would make sense with the dynamics here.
