NUMBER THREE- SIMPLE!
Simple! From Chris St Aubyn
Simple has a LOT going for it. I’m not focusing on the library here, its engine sound is different to Halion’s core sound. It’s a great way to help give the stock sounds some extra oomph! Kind of a “mystery” machine synth. Twist the knob and you can get to some cool places.
The GUI is probably one of the best from the Halion Dev community. I love the way that the envelopes are shown. The window automatically resizes…unlike Halions strange envelope window. Stenberg needs to steal this.
How would SpiderWerks Improve it?
Not a whole lot. I would rather not have to tab through hidden screens and such. Finding a way to put all the synth parameters up front in an elegant way would greatly improve the workflow in my opinion.
