On 3.0.17: noises are still there when switchng songs (brief moment , but expecially long when monitor mixer is in sight due to the known bug to be solved next version).
Here i share a partial project with 2 complete songs with recorded live stacks, both have inserts in tracks. if you disable all inserts noises go away (everybody feel free to download to check a couple very heavy complete songs, they’re covers no copyright problems for us. Plugins used Izotope neutron 4, izotope nectar 4, antares autotune + many stocks)
After few trials i suspect when releasing plugins/tracks, something goes wrong buffers struck … , the plugin making noises are the ones of the song being unloaded, not the one of the song being loaded.
Please try to solve, this (and the already to be solved loading times whn monitor mixer is in sight are the last obstacles for me to migrate to V3, actually still on 2.2.90 old video render engine for gigs)
on 3.0.18 song switch loading times are solved, very good, but plugin noises at song switch are still very present. Please just download the attached project on the previous post and try to switch between the 2 songs in playlist, you’ll hear it.
Last onstacle to definitely switch to V3 for live gigs.
Thank you, it’s not just the Ciro bass stack, it’s every track that have inserts in tracks. In “Medley Gaga” happens that Ciro track (linked to global stack Ciro bass) have 3 plugins in insert. That makes noises on song switch.
In “Alexia dimmi come”, is the drums backing (routed to song group) track that have plugins in inserts, and is this one that make noises at song switch. In general the noises come from disconnecting tracks before song change.
If no plugins are present in any tracks inserts, than no noises are produced at song switch.
