Activating a different setlist always sets the channel order of the first song from the new activated Setlist to confusion.
It seems to be a bug, probably even in earlier VL versions.
Yes, it’s a bug coming from very old versions. Sadly not reproducible in new project. But in my main project, which was created 2 years ago and have tens of songs with various complexity, I also occasionally experience incorrect order in Mixer. Just reorder and save the project! Are they misordered on simple Setlist change after you reordered channels?
I can only guess that the newest versions do something differently (of course!) than older versions, therefore some bugs may appear in an existing project, but cannot be reproduced in a new project.
Recreating the entire project from scratch might help, but I know how painful that would be ![]()
Thanks for your advise.
Yes, even I reorder the channels and save the project.
Next time I load the project I have exactely the same problem. So it seems, the channel order of the first song in the setlist will not be restored while loading.
My Master project is also 2 years or even older. I adapted it from VSTLive 2
I have checked it.
All my songs are set to Mixer → Order → Part.
Nevertheless, the first song in the setlist always reverts to the “Project” setting, even though it is set to “Part”.
I believe the cause lies in a piece of program code that needs to be revised.
