[3.0.50] - Eurolite USB DMX512 Pro MK1 not recognised

I have the Eurolite USB DMX512 MK1 Interface.

In “DMXControll 3” this interface is working/connectable via “COMx”.

In VSTLive (Testversion 3.0.50) I cannot see this interface under “connections → DMX”

I want to test VSTLive for my setup.

Any help/infos here?

But you did add it under Outputs with the + sign?

Thread can be closed.

I bought the opendmx.de Interface. And this works in VST Live 3.

Before I’m closing this thread, @Torben_Aschmons:

What @PHAgeBang suggested, that didn’t help?

@Kai_Schwirzke

The Interface didn’t show up completely in VSTLive 3. As if it is not connected to the Computer. I suppose, that there is an issue with Interfaces that are not FT232R USB Devices.

So it didn’t show up as a “Device” in the List in the “Connections”-Window.

when you open VST Live, the Hub shows. It also shows the audio device, you can choose from all available. Also default audio output and MIDI inputs can be set. If no aufio output is chosen, you get a warning. Finally, once VST Live has started, you can set „Devices/Audio Device“ and Connections in the same menu.

@musicullum

I didn’t have an issue with the Audio.

I had an issue with a DMX-Interface, which has no FT232R Driver, but is only connected via COM/USB.

As I said: The same Interface show up without any issues in “dmxcontrol 3”.

And a new “OpenDMX”-Interface - which is a FT232R Device - show up in the Connections Tab.

… can you point me to a webshop (directly link would be good) to buy it? Then we can analyze why it is not supported.

See you
Michael.

I guess you only get the MK2 nowadays. The MK2 came out 2016 as far as I know.

@Spork If you are in Hamburg, i could give it to you.

But as @PHAgeBang mentioned, the Device is really old.

And because the new OpenDMX-Interface costs less than 50,- Euros it might be irrelevant to test this old Device.
