32 bit float DSP in master section question.

I’ve been looking through the manual and have stumbled upon this question and haven’t found an answer yet in the manual. Say if a user is working on a 24 bit fixed file and the master section converts it to 32 bit float for dsp does wavelab 8 dither it back to 24 bits if thats the native when rendering (or monitoring) or is it necessary to manually add dither in the chain when going 24 bit fixed to 24 bit fixed through the 32 bit DSP.

Thanks

By design, WaveLab never does processing behind your back. Hence it’s up to you to add the dithering of your choice.

And then, as a next step, make sure to save in the file format you need.
In WL, you can dither to 24 and still save as 32f.
