3rd party EQ - choices, choices...

I’m looking to buy a new EQ to work with Cubase 8.5 Pro.

Having watched a number of demo/tutorial videos and done some reading about several EQ’s from various manufacturers, I’m preferring the FabFilter Pro-Q 2.

Is this a good choice? Everything I’ve seen so far would suggest it is.

Any reason something else would be a better choice? Care to say why?

Cheers

Cubase’s channel EQ and StudioEQ are pretty good. You don’t really need a new one.

That said, FabFilter stuff in general is highly regarded. If you’re going to buy something, I would go with Pro-Q if you have the money to spend and you’re not looking for a “hardware” sound.
