i don’t have this feature in cubase 12 elements.
is there a 3rd party program or plug-in to convert a wave file to midi that you can recommend?

For example Celemony Melodyne can do this.

But I don’t know if it’s cheaper to buy Melodyne or an update from Cubase Elements to Artist (what is the lowest edition with VariAudio integration).
