Even though hymns and most liturgical music is written on 2 staves for 4 part choir, there doesn’t appear to be a template or even a simple way to create and write in this format in Dorico.
Is this the case, or am I missing something obvious?
You use the instrument “choir reduction” which is a grand staff instrument whose barlines do not intersect the lyrics. Enter soprano and tenors in upstem voices and then add a downstem voice to each stave for the alto and bass.
