4 to 6.5 USB ELicenser problem

So, I’ve just got a new PC and bought an upgrade from Cubase 4 to 6.5

I’ve installed 6.5 on my new machine and have authorised and registered it with my USB ELicenser with a view to keeping version 4 on my old machine. My problem is that now Cubase 4 won’t work with my USB ELicenser because it’s been upgraded.

I wanted to take my time to get to now 6.5 before I ditched version 4 but now I can’t. Is there a way to authorise version 4 as well as 6.5 with the same USB ELicenser???

Any help or advice will be much appreciated

Normally your able to run with 6.5 all lower licenses.

You should also use the latest eLicenser software on all machines that you use the USB-key on. It tells the software on it that the current USB-key is valid for the older version.

And to run your elicenser in admin mode might also help
