There have been several questions about number of staff lines on a percussion kit, but none of them have helped.
As with many, I cannot get Dorico to display my percussion kit with 5 staff lines.
In the attached score (brand new, only player) I want the player to display 5 staff lines.
Instead, I get a staff with only 3 lines.
I created this by first adding a player (with no instruments) then created an empty kit.
I then selected the three instruments I wanted. I this case a snare drum, a bass drum and a triangle.
The kit Definition is set to 5 lines.
Layout->Options->Player->Percussion is set to 5 lines.
In my real score, I went so far as to create copies of the instrument definitions and changed the individual instrument to 5 lines, but as soon as I combined them into a kit, the score comes up with the three line staff.
Iām using Doric 6, brand new user who has just migrated from Finale. This is the first score Iām trying to work with and it is driving me crazy.
Any help would be appreciated
