has someone solved this problem? I cannot seem to be able to find a post that can help me. I have tried with 6.5, 7.5 and 8.0 (all latest release) and nothing seems to work! If I am wrong please post a link to the right topic. Thanx!
What problem?
no 50 fps popup selection in project settings/frame rate
there are almost all frame rates, even 60fps, but no 50
Prefs > Transport > User Definable Frame Rate
But as I said earlier, saving the 50 fps user frame rate change in prefs has no effect on anything that I see here.

as some one said before, that preference setting you are mentioning is only for DISPLAY FORMAT transport frame rate view, it does not affect the frame rate of the project…
anyway what I meant as “problem” is the fact that it’s not possible to import 50fps video without having issues. It seems a weird thing to me that it’s possible to import a 60fps video.
