500ms Latency in Cubasis 3 on Lenovo Duet Chromebook

Hi everyone,

I have a latency of round about 500ms in cubasis 3. I am using cubasis 3 on a lenovo duet 11M889 with 8gb of RAM (chrome OS). I have followed all advices to troubleshoot latency issues, turned multi core processing on and off, switched the latency options. I cannot work with offset audio compensation because it is just working to max. 200ms. I am using a steinberg UR22 audio interface. When talking to gemini about the latency problem it says that the MediaTek Kompanio 838 Processor is causing such high latency. Has anyone experiened 500ms latency issues or is using also the same hardware?

Hi @tobiasbruehl88,

The performance of Cubasis for Android is highly dependent on the specific Android device being used.

If selecting a lower latency value does not resolve the issue, it’s possible that the device in use may not be fully suitable for running Cubasis for Android.

Please have a look at the private message I sent you so we can continue troubleshooting the problem there.
