5m USB cable for CI2+

Hello

Does anyone know if USB cable 5m long will affect the quality of the audio? Also is there any difference between particular brands in term of sound or every cable “sounds” the same?

It’s hard to say. Many report that long usb cables don’t affect quality. If it were myself, I’d play it safe and buy a longer microphone/guitar cable if that would help.

5M is the max length for a USB cable to go without dropouts. If you do get a compromise, it should be very noticeable. For $20, it’s a small risk. :slight_smile:

Thanks for the reply. Longer mic cable won’t do I’m afraid as I need the CI2+ with me (since it has buttons for transport control) and away from my laptop. I just bought some the cheap cable will see how it sounds. :sunglasses:
