64 bit sound questions

… ok so cubase is 64 bit on macs. hovere, like usually with digital audio apps, there is no real documentation of what is going on sonically. questions:

  1. has the mixer been rewritten to 64 bit or ist it still 32 bit float?
  2. if the mixer is 32 bit, what happens if one uses 64 bit plugs (dithering?)
  3. if the mixer is 64 bit, will it sound better/different?

64bit refers to the app and os, it’s still 32fp audio.
