8.5.15.crash at splash screen

I’m using Cubase 8.5.15 on OSX El Capitan on a Macbook Pro (mid-2012 Intel i5) and cannot get beyond the splash screen before Cubase crashes.

I get the following report :

Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x0000000120f1b0d0
Exception Note: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY

Obviously this is the shortened version, however I can post the full report if that helps. I also have versions 6, 7, & 8 on the same system which all load fine & work fine. I have renewed/updated the elicenser and I have the same system installed on a W10 set up with no issues.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have resolved - MPC.vst plug-in crashing the system. Have moved to temp file until I resolve (there is a solution on another thread).
