Have been using 8.5 the last week and can now for a fact say that it is WAY more laggy than 8.0.
Ex:
I have been trying to edit a vocal track in 8.5 (mostly cutting and dragging it) for the past hour. 8.5 performs in a VERY laggy way. It is honestly impossible to get it done.
Just switched back to 8.0.30 and WOW… what a difference. Way more smooth (won’t say that there isnt room for improvement, but it is way more durable!)
You need to fix this, Steinberg.
