Hi I just bought Cubase 8 AI from somone on gumtree and I want to know what the difference is between 8 and 8.5 of the AI version . I`m a bit disappointed because its bundled with a load of trial software that I thought i was getting full versions of . i.e. GA 4 , HS2 etc . Are these in the 8.5 version ? If not what am i getting for the £34 update fee ?

No… the full versions are not included in Cubase. The VST softwares included in CB are technically not “trial” versions. They are “watered down” versions of the full versions. They are fairly comprehensive as is but, you can purchase the full versions if you want them.

thanks for the quick reply i got a bit ahead of myself and posted before i installed , all the software in CB as you say more than comprehensive enough for my needs . I will probably do the 8.5 update at some point but for now . All is well , many thanks .
