A couple of alt rock tracks done thoroughly in Cubase

Here’s one I recently did in typical micing a speaker cabinet, and drum kit fashion, with a lot of processing in Cubase. The bass amp is simulated in Cubase. There are some third party plugins used on the processing, iZotope Ozone 4 and 7, and some harmonizer:

But here’s one that I made more entirely with Cubase, using Cubase’s guitar amp sims for the guitar sound, and the amp sims for the amp sounds, and Cubase’s MIDI drums for the percussion. It also uses iZotope Ozone 4 during mastering:

I liked the vibe of the first one. It sounded like it came from the Woodstock album. Nice recording! The second one was not as strong, but I guess you already knew that.
