A Few Questions-Tempo, Part layouts

1. When I insert a line break in the tempo, a dotted line appears above it. How can I make it appear below instead?

2. The instrument order in the full score is 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, but when I select an instrument from the Parts layout, the order comes out as 2, 1, 3. How can I fix this? The order in the full score is correct.

I can’t find it… You could keep col canto… as real tempo mark, and add “allarg.” as system text, with the Tempo (gradual) Paragraph Style. [Capture d'écran 2026-05-17 121722] Someone else may have a better idea though.

At the bottom of the right column, in Setup Mode, right-click the Sort Layouts button:

Choose Instrument Score Order (it should be already ticked by default)

Then click the button.

The order of the instruments is incorrect in the instrument part layout.

The order is different from the full score.

Do you mean you have an part layout with several instruments where the order is not the one you want?

If so, there’s a Layout Option that allows to change the order:
