A Response to Critics and a Look Toward the Path Ahead

Hello everyone,

I hope you’re all doing great.

After about a year, I thought it was time to reach out to those who’ve had issues with my comments.

I’ll start with a question… Do you remember telling me that if I wanted a modular environment, I should go work with Bitwig? Do you remember that? Or how you said Steinberg’s target audience doesn’t include people who use Ableton or Bitwig? Does that ring a bell?

Today, we’re witnessing the inevitable predictions I made a year ago.

I’m a 32-year-old music producer and graphic designer with programming experience, nearly two decades in the industry, and an ESTJ personality type.

These three skills, along with my extensive experience in all stages of production and post-production, allow me to share insights on companies and their products.

I intended to present a significant number of unique ideas here—concepts that any engineer or musician would undoubtedly welcome. But…

It seems that neither many of those here nor Steinberg itself value people like me. I could, with logic and reason (not just personal opinion), critique various aspects of Steinberg’s and similar companies’ products. My criticism would be constructive. Though opposition may seem visible on the surface, behind the scenes, suggestions and critiques do make an impact—and we’re seeing that today.

For the past eight months, I’ve been working towards migrating to Germany to establish my own software company there.

This will be the strongest and most beautiful software the world has ever seen. It may take 3 to 5 years, but mark my words—someday you’ll be working on serious projects with software I oversee.

This message is for those who criticize others and their discussions without a shred of thought or logic. Remember, God has granted each of us unique gifts that others might not possess. So, if you’re not envious, let them grow.

Couldn´t resist, especially today. Hope you are a good sport and forgive me.
I have not been part of these discussions and I hope you sort things out - don´t take things too seriously would be me advice from afar.
And, seriously, good luck with your company! Hope you get there!
