Can/will/do we have:- A-S-D-F-G = CDEFG?
For those of us who can’t “type”, C-D-E-F-G = C-D-E-F-G slows us/me down, when I don’t have a MIDI keyboard around. 
Daniel and team, please see if/what/when can happen.

Long ago I did also post a method of hand-editing the key commands JSON file to allow you to set shortcuts to input particular pitches, e.g. in this thread.

Worth pointing out that MIDIKeys has not been updated since 2010, and is 32-bit. It won’t run on the next version of MacOS, Catalina.
However, you can find a variety of similar virtual MIDI Keyboards on the Mac App Store. (Search for “MIDI Keyboard”, and you’ll get loads, ranging from Free to Bizarrely Expensive.)
