I am making up a home studio basic on cubase. Now I need a standalone screen (like a TV) to show my video with video player on a full screen mode. I take some research, it seems like need a blackmagic video card (like Intensity Pro or decklink monitor). Which one do I take, please tell me if guys have solutions like this.
You only need a graphics card with at least two outputs. The video player in. Cubase Pro can go full screen on one of them.
Yes. I have a RTX3070ti on my PC (for game and display use), and I use two of HDMI port, one is for my main display, and the other one is for the TV.
But in cubase “Studio Setup”, I can’t see any device available in “Device” blank.
Just like doc said (https://archive.steinberg.help/cubase_pro/v12/en/cubase_nuendo/topics/video/video_video_output_device_setting_up_t.html)
Make sure you have a Video Track in your project with a video file loaded.
Go to Studio > Video Player. Move the video window that appears to your screen of choice (your TV I’m assuming) and double click it. It should now play the video full screen.
Yes. I make that. But when I restart cubase instance or open other project, I must do that again and again, so is there any way to let the video player always shows on the TV, but not everytime I must drag that window to the TV?
