AAF support in Elements

Just appalled as I found out Elements does not support AAF file format…guys, seriously?

I have probably paid a Logic Pro price in years for mere updates, but expecting us to buy Cubase Pro -just so we can collaborate with our friends using Logic Pro- is beyond absurd.

Any chance if you would review this commercial policy ?

AAF is imho a format that is mostly used in professional audio/video environments, so it makes absolute sense to not include it in Elements, which is the entry-level edition of Cubase.

Of course every Elements/Artist-User have their own opinion of what pro-feature should definitely be included in their version, but understandably Steinberg has to draw a line somewhere.

I wouldn’t hold my breath that it will be ever included. Best bet would be Artist, then you can use DAWProject, which is much better for project exchange with other DAWs than AAF anyway.

1-Logic does not support DAWproject

2-Elements already supports DAWproject

Perhaps suggest to Apple that they should add DAWProject support Logic.
