About C states and eist

I am finding conflicting information about the need to disable power saving features in the bios.
Just out of curiosity, what do you have disabled in your bios with respect to power saving features? (C states, eist, speed step, turbo, etc…)

Thanks,
Don

interesting question.
i suppose it depends on so many things, like the hardware you got mostly.

Actually I am starting a new build around a gigabyte ga-z270x motherboard, a i7 7700k cpu, 32gig ram, Samsung 850 evo 500gb ssd, several other drives for audio storage and samples, and a gt 710 video card for basic graphics as I don’t do any video editing.

Thanks for your response,
Don
