About cubase key

Hello everyone. I’m new here

I bought cubase 10.5 pro key license from ebay seller and order elicenser separately from amazon.
then after receiving elicenser, seller emailed me the license key, and sent me the follow his instruction:

  1. Download and install the latest version of Cubase from official website - Cubase 10.5 Updates and Downloads | Steinberg
  2. Download and install the latest version elicenser control center https://www.steinberg.net/en/company/technologies/elicenser.html
  3. Open your Elicenser Control Center (which you installed in the second step) and insert Elicenser into usb port.
  4. You will see Elicenser on the left. Select it and press big green button on top «Enter Activation Code»
  5. Аfter you entered the license code you will have the full version. You can see it on the bottom.
  6. Create account on https://www.steinberg.net/ and log in.
  7. That’s all! You can launch your Cubase. If the program ask you to register on steinberg, press«i already did».

everything works ok.
my question:
are the instruction missing anything?
is there any security thread to my license considering that serial key is known to the seller and if he would like to use them someday for example?

As long as you go into your MySteinberg account and REGISTER your Cubase no one else can access it as it will be tied to YOUR account and the e licenser USB

IF it won’t allow you to register and says its already registered then the seller will need to unregister it in his account.
