Accessibility with VSTGUI

Hi there,

We are currently looking into the possibilities for accessibility features, especially serving the platform specific APIs for screen reader support, NSAccessibility on macOS and UI Automation on Windows.

Of course ideally we would like to see VSTGUI provide some functionality here, but it seems currently there is none. Are there any plans for VSTGUI to provide support for this? Are there other approaches or best practices you could give to move forward with this topic using VSTGUI?

Hi,
as you’ve seen there’s currently no support for accessibility in VSTGUI. As long as I know, no one is currently working on this feature.
If you like to add this to VSTGUI, I would suggest to open an issue on GitHub so that we can discuss it there how we can add it.
