I’ve bought the upgrade to Cubase 15 pro and accidentally deleted the email with the activation code(and emptied the trash). For 2 days trying to find a way to contact the support team but i can’t find how to talk to someone, also wrote on their Facebook and Instagram and they are referring me back to the website(I understand that they are just the social media team). And 2 days ago finally found some Steinberg support email and sent them an email and they told me that they will contact me within 2 days, 2 days have passed and no contact. Does anyone has a contact/email or may be a suggestion on what to do&
Did you purchase it directly through the Steinberg website? When you need support from Steinberg, usually the best approach is to log-in to your My Steinberg account and open a support ticket.
I also thought it should be that simple, unfortunately the website transfers me to the distributors website, and the told me that they don’t deal with those kind of things. Also did it twice
What website are you talking about? My receipt had the code. Ask for a new receipt.
You might have more chance of success by contacting FastSpring, who is Steinberg’s authorized online reseller.
Google search AI says the following:
"Yes, it is possible to recover your product activation code. FastSpring operates a dedicated Consumer Support Portal that allows buyers to locate order details, retrieve receipts, and find missing license keys.
The easiest ways to recover your activation code include:
-
The Question a Charge Page: Enter the charge date, purchase amount, payment method details, and currency into the FastSpring Consumer Support Portal. If your order is found, a new receipt containing your license information will be sent directly to your email.
-
Self-Service Account Management: If you have an existing login, you can log in directly to the FastSpring Account Management Portal associated with the store you purchased from. Here, you will find your complete order history and software licenses.
-
Contacting FastSpring Support: If you cannot locate the purchase using the above methods, you can use the FastSpring Consumer Support Page to submit a ticket with details like your full name, the specific software product, and the email address used during the purchase.
Note: If you purchased the software from a third-party reseller rather than directly through a FastSpring-powered store, you may need to reach out to that specific retailer’s customer support, as your purchase history will be tied to their platform.
Yes, you can recover your Cubase activation or download access code via FastSpring. Because FastSpring operates the Steinberg Online Shop, your purchase records and codes are stored on your FastSpring order invoice.
How to Retrieve Your Code
- Access Your Receipt: Find the original order confirmation or receipt email sent to you by FastSpring (acting for Steinberg).
- Manage Orders: Click the “Manage Your Orders” or “Order Details” link in that email to view your purchase history and product keys.
- Contact FastSpring Support: If you cannot find the email, you can submit a ticket on the FastSpring Consumer Support page, where you will need to provide your order number or the email address used during purchase."

Yamaha Musical of Brasil has not answered my email regarding Cubase LE licensing issues I was having at the time. I had to ask here in the forums and then the issue was resolved. I’m not even sure why Steinberg even bothers listing distributors when some of them only do two things, one starting with jack, when it comes to software support.
