Accidentals option for augmented or diminished intervals doesn't affect notes across grand staff

I have a chromatic passage in the right hand and a repeated note in the left hand. I don’t want the cautionary naturals in the left hand, even though the notes make an augmented/diminished interval with the right.

In Notation Options, I have all options set to “No cautionary accidentals” where possible, including “Notes with augmented or diminished intervals”, but it has no effect.

Are manual overrides the only way to remove these?

For grand staff instruments, yes. However, it would be more conventional (in Gm) to notate the run using an Ab and F# (rather than G# and Gb). This would avoid the bass line problem altogether.
