Account creation issues - not a valid email

I’m looking to download and try Cubase 14 ahead of buying possibly two copies of Pro

But my email address prompts the error:
This is not a valid email address. Please choose another email address.

I’ve been using the email address for nearly 25 years, and continue to do so several times a day with no problems. It is also the only email address I use for accounts and payments.

I’ve managed to create an account using a different email address, but I cannot use it on a regular basis - so it is only temporary.

I don’t want to post my email address - but it is in the form k.smith@ksmith.net

I’ve sent an email to Steinberg’s “info” account - but has anyone any idea of a solution?

Perhaps you’ve already created an account using that email address in the past? Have you tried the “forgot password” feature with your current email address instead of trying to create a new Steinberg account?

Good thinking - I originally thought that I might have an account, but the “invalid email” threw me. However, I did try to reset the password but got no code emailed to me.

So, based on your comment, I went back and persisted - eventually cot a code and it worked.

Thanks for the hint!! And the quick response.

Just now need to figure out if I can use the installed Cubase, but just change the account.

Thanks again.
while I twice tried to reset the password on the original account, it kept saying there that it wasn’t a valid email address. However, I persisted and on the 3rd attempt it sent me the reset code - and now all sorted.
