I changed my original Steinberg email account to a different email, but this has caused confusion, and now my products are split between the accounts. I made a purchase using the new email, but the products I had before are still in the original email account, creating two separate accounts. This is the first time I’ve encountered such a bug. I want to resolve this issue, but it seems that Steinberg doesn’t offer separate email support. I need your assistance.
I want to consolidate all my licenses and products into one account, but I’m having difficulties. Please help me.
Thank you guys,
Hi and welcome to the forum!
As far as I can tell, you can use the Resale Wizard to get licenses removed from your account and to request new Download Access Codes which can then be used to add the licenses to a different (e.g. your main) account.
Hi, Thank you for your replying
Yes, I just checked about that but my Dorico 5 pro is educational license so I can not pass to other I guess. This is such a weird bug. Because my Original account has Cubase 11 12 13 and Dorico 5 pro. but My separated account ( I don’t know how) have Cubase 14. Funny thing is I can download my product on “Download Manger” use changed account. But my “License Manger” account is pervious account. This is something wrong.
It should be possible to move your EDU license to your other account. The Resale Wizard only prepares some text for an email where you can add further information, such as that you don’t want to resell the license but move it between your own accounts. Usually, the support staff is pretty helpful. I suggest just to ask them.
