Acidized WAV work well Elements 8?

Hi,

I am buying a sample pack. I generally just use WAV but I thought I might try Acidized WAV or Rex files. Do these work well in Cubase Elements 8?

24bit WAV is straight forward to use and I am just wondering if Acidized WAV or Rex files are just as easy. From what I have read, they are supposed to be good for time stretching.
