Actions for Monitor Mixer tab - not urgent but…

Hi @Spork @musicullum ,

Not a priority in this particular moment, but is it possible to add actions and shortcut for monitor mixer tab?

While we wait for a web interface or a mods update, I decided to go TouchOSC route to create a midi controller interface on android phones/tablets so that every band member can control his iem volumes.

Having midi actions assigned to monitor faders for each output could be useful.

Edit : Now that I’m thinking deeper …. Maybe I can already do this by assigning normal mixer channel sends volumes to midi cc …. So that is really low priority :sweat_smile::+1:t3:

in addition, - asked the question a few times since v1 but they just always sank deep between different threads, maybe I couldn’t explain myself good enough.

My question (drumroll): Is it theoretically possible to implement (later) to be able assign GlobalMixerChannelObject via Actions&Shortcuts/Channel/.. ?

With other words, say, e.g.:
Set action-row to always control a specific GBLOutput/GBLGroup/GBLStack/GBLLayer, instead of CurrentMixerPosition ? Exactly the same way as AutomationTrack is linked/locked?
E.g.:
Row2 | Volume | “StereoOut” | Slider | . | MIDI-In1 | …
Row3 | Send1 | “GBL-STACK1” | Slider | . | MIDI-In1 | …

or would that screw up another things? :innocent:

@Spork @musicullum - I checked, I can do it with normal mixer channel sends action!!! no need to add monitor mixer tab tha tis simply a gui for the sends …

BUT action and shortcut channel mixer still have only 4 sends and 4 inserts selectable, please can you bring them to 8 ?

@musicullum @Spork … also, in actions and shortcuts channels tab, the number of channel selectable is limited at 32nd channel … it happens that I have 36 channels … :smiley: :smiley: can you expand it to max channel numer in mixer ? thanks!

It works! i only need to figure out how to send actual sends saved value from vstlive to midi out to TouchOSC when project is loaded oherwise osc will stay with faders at -inf and i’ll mess up saved initial send status when i move faders in touchOSC … is there a way @fkalmus ?
