De-activating Cubase 15 in my Apple computer A, in order to activate it in my Apple computer B does not work. I tried several times, including restarting between attempts. I did use Migration Assistant for the new Apple computer. Might it have something to do with that?

Have you tried deactivating your computer via your mySteinberg profile? There you can see your activated computers and can also deactivate them.
