I was messing around with a Cubase install on my home computer, however I noticed 3 activations for Cubase and 2 for VST Live Pro.
Problem is, I don’t quite remember what I could have possibly changed to get duplicate activations. Since Cubase-9900K and ff05af343d appear to be the same system from what I can tell. I may have added an additional NVME drive for samples around that time of the Cubase-9900K activation but I can’t quite remember the exact date. I could probably verify this by launching VST Live Pro to see if it adds an extra activation as Cubase-9900K as well, since I don’t think I’ve launched VST Live Pro since installing the NVME.
But I guess the ff05af343d activation can be safely removed.

This thread is proving the point that I made way back when dongle-free was first announced.
We need a user-controlled, centralised way to manage our activations for ourselves.

exact friend we ourselves have to control our 3 licenses that they give us, greetings
Or just upping it to 5 would afford us more room for self-managing within the existing system.
I’d imagine it’s very common for people to have 2 machines (Desktop/Laptop), which means there’s only one activation spare. You get a locked machine and it’s a problem, but not so much when you have 2 additional spares for redunancy.

I have the same problem with my licenses. Recently my pc refused to boot to windows and I had to do a fresh installation.
I have 2 licences that I need to reset because I don’t know which one belongs to my PC.

By reading through these posts I now truly understand who the real Steinberg Licensing Manager is 
And I can not believe this situation will last forever

I waited all weekend assuming they don’t work weekends but it’s already Wednesday and I still don’t have help from Steinberg with the issue of licenses I just asked them to remove 2 of my licenses and the worst thing is that I am a professor of Cubase Pro 12 in an institution of the sound career, in short, we just have to wait

I have the same problem albeit with Spectralayers (no activations left) but Cubase also is activated on more computers.
I have opened a ticket but no response after 3 days.
The yellow marked ones can be deactivated.
